Series: What Happens in Corinth Stays in Corinth
Text: 1 Corinthians 1:26-31
Lesson: The Call
This week we will continue the beginning of this letter to the church of Cortinth. What a challenging word so far from Paul. This week we are going to dive head first into the subject of the calling of God.
Who does it include?
Who does it exclude?
How do I know if I am called?
Can God use me?
So many people I meet have this idea that God's work is only for a certain type of person. This week we will discuss, who that person is, what kind of education is required ect....I think you will be surprised and and relieved about the verdict!
I trust you are all having an excellent week! I am praying for you and cannot wait to see you on Sunday!!!

Lesson: The Power of the Cross
Text: 1 Corinthians 1:18-25
Last we discussed how the people attracted to different styles of teaching and to different personalities and because of this it was causing division within the church. As a result of the division it was making the CROSS, of none effect.
Paul picks up here in this letter and reminds, defends, presents the LIFE CHANGING POWER of the cross. I wonder if running through his mind was the walk he was taking that day on the road to Damascus when the CROSS wrecked his life.
What has the Power of the Cross done in your life?
Has it made a difference?
How did it change you today?
Are you pointing people towards it by the way you are living?
Is the Cross real to you?

Series: What Happens in Corinth Stays in Corinth
Text: 1 Corinthians 1:1-9
Lesson: Fully Equipped, But Failing
The Bible is full of people who had been given the tools, had been given the call, had been given the formula for living the victorious and successful Christian life. Many of them in spite of having the tools, or the call still ended up failing in many areas.
Who in the Bible comes to mind?
Why do people who know the truth still fail in so many areas?
What does it mean to be "IN CHRIST"?
What is grace?
What brings true inner peace?
Is God faithful?
Prove it...
