This Sunday I will be bringing a message entitled: "What God Wanted In a Father".
I would encourage you to read Matthew 1.
Here are some thoughts and questions for this week:
- Why did God choose Joseph to be the "earthly" father of God's son?
- What are some of Joseph's characteristics that we could learn from?
- How would you have responded if you were engaged and this happened to you? (would you be angry? would you believe her? what would you do?)
- Joseph was kind of like a step father when you think about it. What did God intend for us to learn from that?
